This versatile tool comes with an comfortable to hold, long lasting aluminum handle with an attached steel plate. A specially embossed pattern on the plate forms an abrasive surface that cuts vertically, horizontally, diagonally, or in a circular pattern. A wire brush may be used to clean the plate when it becomes clogged. The metal cutting plate is easily changed for coarser grit; a Philips head screws hold the plate firmly in place. The edges of the metal grit are bent up avoid having the plate dig into the material being worked. This sturdy tool is useful for applying a lot of cutting pressure to a small area.
